How to remove Cloudprint ads

Hi all, as it seems some users are having issues removing the ads from the app so here goes a tutorial: NOTE: removing ads is a payed service, that helps to support the development

 Step 1 : Click "About/Store" icon

Step 2 : Click "Cloudprint Store" button

Step 3 : Click "Disable ads in all the app" button

Step 4 : (optional) you can also click "Buy a coffee for the developers" as many times as you want... thanks! (IT WON'T REMOVE THE ADS, IS JUST A CONTRIBUTION)

 Note: If for some reason (network issues) you sill have the ads, please go back to the store and wait a bit until the purchase is restored. For any issue, send us an email :)

Beta testers needed

Hi all! As we have a new version beeing tested, i'd like to ask for volunteers, in order to help on the testing, please join our Google group at : http://groups.google.com/group/cloudprintandroidapp , you will find the latest beta version there .. The main 2 ideas for this release were: - new UI, something that scales from a very small android screen to a 10.1 tablet - improvements to sharing for other apps.. So now is possible: - to print picasa and facebook fotos using the pictures gallery in the phone and the facebook app (support inside cloudprint app is comming) - print emails from android default mail app - use the app in Hebrew :) here are some screenshots :

Cloudprint 0.4.2 is on the market

Hi all,
i'd like to anounce that Cloudprint 0.4.2 is on the market :)
here is the new stuff:

- fixed issue in Samsung galaxy devices
- added Spanish translation
- rewritten communication layer
- added advanced options for Gdocs and webpages

I'm aware of the webpage issues and i'm are currently working on a solution, current idea is to some a webservice to convert webpages to pdf before printing, Joliprint seems the best candidate..

Cloud Print 0.04 is OUT

Dear Cloud Print users,
i'd like to start this email with a request: please join our Google group at :http://groups.google.com/group/cloudprintandroidapp (if you haven't done it yet) , by joining this group your question will be answered a lot faster, and you will get access to the most recent news and beta versions :) .. Also if you use the group i will have more time to work on new features, and thats better for all of us:)

Now the good stuff :)
This new version took a bit longer then usual since i wanted to make it a lot better, so a lot of issues were fixed and some requested features were added, here is the list:
- Translated in : DE,FR,IT,NL,PT -> this is a big one, now the app speaks 6 languages and all of this thanks to our awesome users who volunteered to do this! ( let us know if you would like to translate the app into your language)
- Printer options -> still very experimental, but you should be able to change your printer settings now..
- Share printers with friends -> a very cool feature, you can print to your friends printers :) just share it!!
- Contacts printing
- Better sms printing
- Print from clipboard
- Improvements to small screens
- bug fixing, bug fixing... :)

Cloud Print 0.2.1 is out

I'm happy to announce that Cloud Print v.0.2.0 is finally available, this version brings some of the features requested by the users, the most important ones are mail and sms printing.
In order to be able to print emails an external app is required, it's called K9 and it's probably the most powerful Android email client. K9 is based on the default Android email client, but it adds a lot of new features including the "Share" feature, that should be used if you want to print from K9.

Why an external app and not an email app integrated ?
Developing an internal email client would be extremly complex and would take a lot of time, and at the beginning would not support the mail server types that k9 does (imap, pop3 and exchange), also having an email app integrated, would result in a much bigger app.

Let us know what you think about this feature, and in the future we might add an integrated email app only for gmail (and only if users really ask for it).

About the "Jobs in qeue" issue:
Some users have reported that sometimes print jobs stay in the queue and don't get printed, so i would like to explain that this app can only put the jobs in the queue, after that Google Chrome is the one responsible for sending the jobs to the printer. So it seems that Chrome has some issues, with some accounts, in fetching the print jobs. Some users have reported that login/logout from the Cloud Print service in the Chrome options fixes this issue, but in the meantime we reported this to Google and we really hope that the issues get's fixed soon.

Plans for the future:
i've been receiving a lot of requests for a paid version without ads, for those users : i'm working with the in-app billing from google (should be released soon) that will allow me to sell a no-ads version from inside the app using the market. Also i might have some pro options to sell there.. still working on that!!

Hi, i've seen many comments on the market of users saying thanks to Google for this app, well you can definitely thank them for the awesome Cloud Print service they have, but the app is not from Google :)

Cloud Print 0.1.5 is out

NOTE : 0.1.7 was just released with some fixes..

First off all i'd like to thank you all for the support these days, Cloud Print app would not be the same without you, also i'd like to thank the fact that you preferred to send us an email instead of just leaving a bad review, in tried to help in all cases i could, altough in some cases Google Chrome or Google Cloud print, prevented me to be able to fix the problems.

Today we are releasing a new app that brings some of the more requested features :
- Print webpages (using share page)
- new direct print mechanism (no Dropbox needed)
- improved error handling/reporting
- possibility of installable the app on SD (apps2sd)
- Print jobs are now viewable in the app
- print .txt files from internal file browser

More then the features i'd like to request your attention to the new direct upload, this means you won't need dropbox anymore to get more stability as you have a more reliable and secure way to print your documents, i ask you to test this feature (disabling dropbox) and let me know how it went, it was a huge effort from our side towards a more stable app so we want your feedback.

Another important thing is that now we have a poll in our blog (pauloslf.blogspot.com) with the features the users want more, you can now vote there or just send me an email with the features you'd like to see in the app. btw, keep an eye on our blog :)

As you know this app is ad-supported, unfortunatelly in 2 weeks and almost 8000 installations we have made less then 3$, which is preventing us to expand on some areas (eg. not enough devices for testing) so for now all i ask is: Share this app and keep sending feedback.

Finally i managed to create a page for Cloud Print, one week after it launched and to celebrate i'm also launching a new version with many new features and issues fixed:
